Safe & compassionate

About 2.5 million people in east London and beyond rely on the services provided by Barts Health, and our committed and dedicated staff do the very best they can for our patients every single day. Together we are on an exciting and ambitious journey to further improve the care that patients receive across all our services.

Safe and Compassionate is our quality improvement plan, and sets out what we are doing not only to provide consistently safe and compassionate healthcare across the board, but also to improve the experience of both patients and staff in our five hospitals.

You can read more about safe and compassionate here, or read our progress for March here.
