Dr Susie Minson is a Consultant Paediatrician with expertise in acute and general paediatrics, and has special interests in paediatric nephrology, medical education, and staff wellbeing. She has been a consultant since 2016 and provides care for children and young people from birth to 16 years of age.
Dr Minson provides acute inpatient paediatric care at the Royal London Hospital and runs regular outpatient clinics in both general paediatrics and paediatric nephrology. She is committed to delivering high-quality, holistic care for children and young people.
She studied medicine at University College London and completed her postgraduate training in paediatrics across London.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Minson is a Lecturer at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, where she is actively involved in undergraduate teaching and curriculum development. She is passionate about creating supportive learning environments and improving the experience of both patients and healthcare professionals.
Her recent work has focused on quality improvement initiatives to enhance staff wellbeing and foster a culture of compassionate care. She has published and presented her work in paediatrics, nephrology, leadership, and medical education.
