Waiting times

Accident and Emergency (A&E) - 74.2%

Percentage of patients that are seen and treated within 4 hours of arrival**The national standard is 95%

Diagnostic Waiting Times - 65.1%

Percentage of patients that are awaiting a diagnostic test and have been waiting less than 6 weeks**. The national standard is 99%

Cancer 62 day wait - 73.3%

Patients receiving first definitive treatment for cancer within 62 days of an urgent GP referral for suspected cancer**. The national standard is 85%

Mortality

Risk adjusted mortality index - 93

The observed number of in-hisputal deaths against the expected number of deaths. A figure below 100 suggests a death rate lower than the expected rate. A figure higher than 100 suggests a death rate righer than the expected rate. 

Safety

Never events - 0

Number of serious incidents considered to be preventable and have the potential to cause serious harm or death.

Clostridium difficile infections - 9

Number of Clostridium difficile (C.difficile) infections reported in patients aged two and over

MRSA bacteraemia infections - 2

Number of MRSA bacteraemias which can be directly associated to the Trust 

 

Patient experience

Complaints - 83.8%

The number of reportable complaints replied to within the timeframe agreed with the complainant**

Duty of candour - 86.7%

Percentage of notifiable patient safety incidents where an apology was offered to the patient within 2 weeks*

Friends and family test (FFT) - 91.3%

Percentage of patients that said they would recommend the Trust to friends and family following an inpatient stay**
