Neil MacDonald, Divisional Director for Surgery, Cancer and Outpatients
Neil is a consultant in anaesthesia and pre-operative assessment. He became clinical lead for anaesthesia at The Royal London Hospital in 2020 and was director for perioperative care across Barts Health from 2021 to 2023.
He joined Newham Hospital as the divisional director for surgery, cancer and outpatients in 2022. His clinical and research interests include the perioperative management of patients having major abdominal surgery or emergency surgery.
