2-year-old saves nurse's life during diabetic crash

When 2-year-old Zab couldn't wake up her dad, she knew exactly what to do and came to his rescue.
In home CCTV footage that's been shared globally, Ymmanuel - a nurse at the Royal London Hospital - can be seen experiencing a low blood sugar crash and struggling to wake up.
After some nudges from his toddler, he was able to say the words 'I’m hypo'. That's when Zab jumped into action and went off to find her father’s emergency chocolate, encouraging him to eat.
When asked how she knew that her dad wasn’t feeling well, she said
“when he’s not waking up and has no battery…. I give him chocolate and sweets and I’ll be a superhero!’”
Ymmanuel was diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes as a teenager, which means he monitors his blood sugar and takes insulin daily.
He shared his inspiring story to raise awareness and show that diabetes doesn’t define him – in fact, it’s made him stronger, more disciplined and more grateful for everyday.
