Critical: Between life and death, airing on July 23, will give you access behind the scenes as London’s major trauma teams work to save the most seriously injured patients, sharing personal and inspirational patient stories and featuring our staff who take on these highly challenging roles.
When a major trauma happens (every 60 minutes), London’s Major Trauma System (LMTS) provides a safety net for 10 million people in London, treating 12,000 people with the most serious injuries each year. LMTS is made up of four Major Trauma Centres (The Royal London, King’s College, St George’s, St Mary’s), trauma units, ambulance and air ambulance services.
