Hot weather this week – staying safe when visiting our hospitals
Very high temperatures are expected this week, so we’re asking everyone to take a little extra care if you’re visiting one of our hospitals.
Our teams are working hard to keep services running safely. If the heat affects your appointment, we will contact you directly if it needs to be rearranged or changed to a virtual consultation.
If you’re travelling to see us
Please take a few simple steps to stay safe and comfortable:
- Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated
- Keep cool by wearing light, loose clothing
- Plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey if needed
