You're Invited: Celebrating 1 Year of Robotics

We are delighted to invite you to a special open day celebration marking one year since the introduction of robotic surgery at Whipps Cross Hospital.

This event is an opportunity to reflect on the positive impact this technology has had on patient care and to showcase the future of surgical innovation across north east London and beyond.

You’ll hear firsthand from the surgeons behind the robot and the patients whose lives have been transformed with faster recoveries, shorter hospital stays, and outstanding outcomes.

You'll also have the unique opportunity to step into the surgeon’s seat and try your hand at operating our cutting-edge robotic simulator.
If you're curious about the power and potential of robotic surgery, we’d be thrilled to welcome you to experience it for yourself.

By 2035, it's projected that 90% of Minimally Invasive Surgery will involve robotic assistance. This event not only celebrates how far we’ve come but also highlights the urgent need for further investment into robotic surgery to ensure equitable access to minimally invasive surgery for all our patients.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Warm regards,
The robotic surgery team
