Our Community Women’s Health Service is based at the Sylvia Pankhurst Centre, Mile End Hospital, Bancroft Road, London, E1 4DG.
Open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm – appointment only.

When deciding to have an abortion
If you are registered with a GP in Tower Hamlets, you are eligible to use our abortion services. If you are not registered with a GP but live in Tower Hamlets, you are also eligible.
You can self-refer by calling the Single Point of Access (SPA) on 0300 033 5000
We offer abortion treatments, advice and support for people considering their pregnancy options.

For women and girls who have undergone Female Genital Mutilation
Our Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) clinic runs monthly at CWHS; every 2nd Wednesday of the month.
We work alongside Sister Circle to offer support to those who have experienced FGM.
You can refer yourself to our service via bartshealth.cwhsenquiries@nhs.net or 0208 223 8291
You will be seen by our specialist FGM doctor. However, if you only want counselling around your FGM, you can still contact us .

Menopause is a milestone for all women
To access our specialist menopause service, you must be registered with a GP in Tower Hamlets.
If you would like to be seen, please speak to your GP, who can refer you to our service. We do not accept self-referrals.
