Congratulations to Kirsty Stewart, paediatric consultant at the Royal London Hospital who is May's Hero of the Month. Kirsty was nominated by a patient for her exceptional care of their young son with Dravet Syndrome.

The patient shared:

"Appointments can be long tiring and extremely exhausting for my son and for us as the parents! I dread the long waits but always look forward to seeing Kirsty, she has a kind, patient and positive personality. Always going above and beyond to explain things clearly and thoroughly - listening to concerns attentively. Always taking the initiative to try to make my sons overall care as smooth and easy as possible for him by liaising with other doctors and hospitals - going the extra mile.

Thank you Kirsty for being so friendly, caring and respectful."

Know someone who's made a difference? Why not  nominate  them for a Hero of the month award.
