Join us for the first-ever Carols at Christmas
Staff and volunteers at St Bartholomew’s Hospital are warmly invited to our inaugural Christmas carol service.
Carols at Christmas from St Bartholomew’s Hospital will take place at St Bartholomew the Great church from 5.45pm on Wednesday 11 December.
There will be traditional carols for all to sing as well as the opportunity to listen to the wonderful choir in the beautiful and atmospheric setting of London’s oldest parish church.
The event has been generously supported by St Bartholomew’s Hospital Charitable Fund and will include festive refreshments.
St Bartholomew’s Hospital staff will give readings as part of the service.
The hospital is holding its own carol service this year for the first time after the previous trust-wide event, the Festival of Carols, was discontinued.
The event is free to attend and registration is not required.
St Bartholomew the Great was founded as an Augustine priory in 1123 by Rahere, a courtier for King Henry I, alongside St Bartholomew's Hospital and the two famous institutions celebrated their joint 900th anniversary in 2023.
Save the date for what promises to be a magical event to get you into the festive spirit!
