Radiography award nod for breast imaging team
Our breast imaging team at St Bartholomew’s Hospital has been recognised for its outstanding commitment to patient care.
The team have been shortlisted as London Radiography Team of the Year 2026 for maintaining exceptionally high standards of care while navigating a prolonged period of operational pressures.
Despite the challenges faced, the team continued to ensure all patients were seen promptly and that quality standards remained consistently high. The team also continued to meet national cancer pathway targets, helping patients receive timely diagnoses and treatment plans.
The nomination reflects the team's unwavering focus on patient care and its determination to maintain high-quality services during a demanding period.
Winners will be announced at the Society of Radiographers Awards ceremony on 11 November.
