The Times spends a shift with our Physician Response Unit
Times journalist, Eleanor Hayward, spent a day with our Physician Response Unit who provide emergency care to patients at home.
The team, which is run from The Royal London Hospital, sees a senior doctor paired with an ambulance worker to provide specialist emergency care at the scene, sparing patients lengthy stays in A&E.
