  • Matty received his MBChB from Manchester University in 2010, before Foundation Training at Manchester Royal Infirmary and one year working abroad at The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.
  • He completed Paediatric Training in London between 2013-2021, including a registrar post in Paediatric Nephrology at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He developed special interests in High Dependency Care and Paediatric Nephrology
  • He was appointed to a substantive post at Whipps Cross in September 2021, where he has started the Paediatric Nephrology Clinic, works on the Paediatric Assessment Unit, and attends on both the Paediatric and Neonatal inpatient wards. He also supports the paediatric trainees and junior doctors in his role as College Tutor
