Congratulations to Star of the Month winner: Matteo Marino
The winner of the Whipps Cross Hospital Star of the Month award for January 2021 is Matteo Marino.
Matteo has been nominated for his support to the Governance Team. Speaking in Italian, Matteo conversed with a patient’s relative, who had been calling consistently to receive news as to the patient’s health.
Sadly, the patient was on ICU and passed away. As the patient did not have any relatives in the UK, Matteo contacted the patient’s relative in Italy. Matteo was commended for his willingness to help and the compassion he displayed, and he has demonstrated all of the Trust values.
