Newham Hospital cares for one of the most diverse populations in England.
Located in Plaistow in the vibrant East End of London, it provides all the services expected of a local hospital, including emergency care, surgery, women’s and children’s health, maternity services, specialist medicine and more.
Simon started work in the NHS as a physiotherapist in the mid 1990’s and has been working in East London since 1998.
For 19 years, he combined his clinical role with various leadership roles, including at Whipps Cross, where he started working in 2001, prior to the formation of Barts Health. Simon has worked at Newham Hospital since 2020 and took up the position of CEO in December 2021.
