Consultant at The Royal London Hospital

Dr Brown is a paediatric respiratory consultant and lead for the tertiary respiratory service at the Royal London Hospital. The service provides specialist multi-disciplinary respiratory care to children within East London and beyond with complex respiratory issues.

Dr Brown qualified from Royal Free and University College Medical School, University College London in 2000, where she was also awarded a Bachelor of Science in Immunology and Cell Pathology. She trained in paediatric respiratory medicine in several highly regarded centres including the Royal Brompton Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Royal London Hospital, and underwent bronchoscopy training at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, USA. She was awarded a doctorate by Imperial College London for research undertaken within the Lloyd Lab, Leukocyte Biology Department, and the National Heart & Lung Institute of the Royal Brompton Hospital.

As well as overall lead for the paediatric respiratory service, Dr Brown is lead for bronchiectasis, primary ciliary dyskinesia and the respiratory care of children with immunodeficiency and neurodisability.
