Consultant at Whipps Cross Hospital

Mr Brearley qualified from Cambridge University and undertook training in general, vascular and paediatric surgery in the West Midlands. He joined the staff of Whipps Cross Hospital in 1992. In addition to his busy surgical practice, Mr Brearley has a strong commitment to teaching and training medical students and young colleagues.  He ran the highly regarded Whipps Cross surgical training course for 24 years and served on the General Medical Council for over 20 years.  In his limited spare time, he enjoys playing and listening to music and is the conductor of The Doctors’ Orchestra.
