£3 million wellbeing support package for staff featured on national and local news

Barts Health staff have been featured on ITV London NewsDaily Mirror and Newham Recorder following Barts Charity’s announcement of a £3m package of long-term support for Trust staff.

The Trust’s dedicated charity announced an unprecedented package of support for staff following the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Thanks to donations to the Barts Charity Covid-19 emergency appeal, clinical psychologists will be deployed within each of the Barts Health hospitals this autumn.

They will offer mental health first aid, counselling and wellbeing sessions to our 24,000 staff.

The new programme will focus on developing staff wellbeing and resilience and also includes an extensive refurbishment programme for areas in the hospitals.

Further information on the  funding is available on the Barts Charity website.

    Hi.
I thought you might be interested in this video https://youtu.be/UgizCwaeFZs which we made about Wellness/Wellbeing.
It explains a little bit about how we got to where we are today and also looks at the dimensions of wellness.
We think that by understanding wellness and what it's about will help people get started on their own programmes.
