St Bartholomew's is a specialist heart and cancer hospital and part of Barts Health NHS Trust.
It provides a number of additional services including respiratory, fertility, endocrinology and a minor injuries unit.
'Barts' is the oldest working hospital in the UK, and celebrated 900 years of providing care in 2023.
David Curran was appointed director of nursing at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in August 2023.
An experienced member of hospital leadership team, David joined St Bartholomew’s in 2019 as associate director of nursing for cancer care.
He was previously the senior nurse for renal and diabetes care at The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel and a lead clinical nurse specialist at the Royal Free Hospital.
