Adam Januszewski is a consultant oncologist and divisional lead for quality and safety at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London.

He qualified in medicine with a bachelor of science from Imperial College London in 2008. After his training Adam received a postgraduate diploma in cancer studies from the Institute of Cancer Research (2014) and was awarded a doctorate of philosophy in Genomic Medicine from Imperial College London (2019).

He completed his training as an academic research fellow at Imperial College healthcare and Royal Marsden Hospitals. He received an associate fellowship of the faculty of Medical Leadership and Management after a year secondment to the department of health and social care.

Adam was appointed as a consultant oncologist at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in 2022 where he takes a patient-centred approach in caring for patients with thoracic malignancies. He leads clinical trials bringing the latest new treatments to patients with lung cancer. He is the UK chief investigator for international phase 2 and 3 clinical trials and has a particular interest in bringing the latest world class treatments to patients of East London and Beyond.

Adam has authored many book chapters, scientific publications and presented original research at international conferences.
