Ms Ferha Saeed is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Newham Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust, and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London.
She brings a wealth of experience spanning over a decade, having been trained at UK’s prestigious tertiary units including Centre for Fetal care at Imperial NHS trust and the Centre for Reproductive Medicine, St Bartholomew’s Hospital.

She performs specialised scans and diagnostic invasive procedures for complex pregnancies with fetal infections, Chromosomal, genetic diseases and fetal abnormalities. She leads and runs the maternal cardiology service for women with heart disease to provide an optimal outcome for their pregnancies. She also looks after menopausal women with complex medical morbidities.
She is actively engaged in research and education. Ms Saeed is passionate about providing holistic, patient-centred, and evidence-based care. She is a firm believer in empowering women to be active participants in their healthcare journeys.
Outside of her professional life, Ferha enjoys cooking, travelling and physical fitness. She enjoys mentoring medical students and trainee doctors.
She has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications in leading medical journals, covering a wide range of topics including maternal cardiology, high-risk pregnancy, fetal medicine, and the impact of COVID-19 on maternity care. Her work includes original research, clinical case reports, and national survey analyses, reflecting her commitment to advancing knowledge and improving patient outcomes.
