Final phase of public consultation for life sciences development at Whitechapel Road

The Department of Health and Social Care and NHS Property Services have launched the third phase of public consultation on their proposals for a new life sciences development at Whitechapel Road.

Following on from earlier public consultations in May and July, this will be the final phase of consultation events before the organisations prepare to submit a planning application later in Autumn.

These consultation events will be an opportunity for the public, and Barts Health staff, to view the final designs and updated imagery of the proposals, which can also now be viewed on the project’s website. The two consultation events are:

  • An in-person drop-in session: on Saturday 25 September, open between 10am and 2pm, at the northern end of Turner Street, by the junction with Whitechapel Road.
  • A webinar on Zoom: on Tuesday 28 September, between 6pm and 7pm. You can register for the session here.

If you have any questions, comments or would like more information then please email the team or call 0800 3077 559.
