Success at prestigious Computing Digital Technology Leaders Awards

We are proud to be announced winner of the Mobile Project of the Year alongside Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust at the prestigious Computing Digital Technology Leaders Awards 2019.
The Trust was also a finalist in the Best Public Sector Digital Project category.
In 2018, Barts Health and Frimley Health collaborated on the development of a new Digital Training Passport and E-Assessment App. Both Trusts engaged the services of a Gartner endorsed Microsoft Gold Partner, Shinetech Software, to develop and manage the system. The system has received great feedback from all staff groups and is accessible from a desktop and mobile friendly web link.
“We are always striving to support our staff to provide safe and compassionate care to our patients. To be recognised alongside government and large private companies across other industries for our technology is a great achievement and shows we are making the right decisions in our digitisation journey” - Lois Whittaker, Managing Director of the Education Academy at Barts Health NHS Trust
“The NHS wastes considerable time and resources when staff repeat their training each time they join a new employer even if they are already competent, so a digital passport belonging to and easily accessible by the staff member but populated and accessible by the NHS Trust is a massive leap forward for the NHS” - Claire Quinn, Assistant Director of Learning & Organisational Development at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust
We have made the system available to other health and social care organisations with 10,000’s of staff already using the system to complete their mandatory training E-Assessments as opposed to the nationally funded workforce or other commercial systems. Imperial College, Lewisham & Greenwich, London North West Healthcare and St George’s are early adopters of our system. Organisations interested in using the system can contact the dedicated NHS team at Shinetech Software in London
