Therapy teams show their best moves to lift spirits during pandemic

Therapy departments across Barts Health are choreographing dance routines to keep morale and spirits high during the coronavirus pandemic.
After extending their clinic hours for a number of days in a row, staff at St Bartholomew’s Hospital wanted to generate some positive energy during a particularly stressful period.
Their first dance, which was performed to We’re All in This Together from High School Musical and took place in the iconic square at the hospital.
The video, which was posted to Twitter here, has been viewed over 20,5000 times already.
Newham Hospital’s therapy team also showed us their moves to the Spice Girls, which you can watch on Twitter here. The team at Whipps Cross Hospital have also danced to the Weeknd's Blinding Lights, which can be viewed here.
Clinical lead physiotherapist at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Natalie Scott, said: “We floated the idea in a team meeting and there was a lot of enthusiasm, and the video is the final result!
“We all left work that day feeling uplifted and more connected as a team.”
Saadiyah Hussein, a therapy support worker at St Bartholomew’s, said: "I love working in this team and things like this make me want to come to work every day.”
