Meet Shirlyn, admin assistant for ICU, WXH
I’ve been in this role for 3 years. The reason I applied for the job was because I was looking for stability and it’s also the type of work I enjoy doing. As an admin assistant for the intensive care unit you need to be committed, organized, competent, exceptional team worker and an ability to work under pressure in a rapidly-changing environment.
The thing I like the most about working at Whipps Cross intensive care is the teams dynamic and its diversity. Our management team are very supportive, especially during the pandemic which made me feel valued as a member of the team.
